as they disappear into a haze of rain.

We awoke to downpour,

yet the day proved bright and gusty between further showers.

Heavenly skies at dusk.

The week continues with sunshine and showers.

After yesterday's Autumnal interlude,

the hottest day of the summer!

After a bright morning

the threatening rain finally arrives,

bringing with it a whisper of Autumn.

A day that tosses between bright bursts of sunshine,

and squally showers, and then this:

a battle of bright sunshine and a shimmering haze of driving rain.


And then this...

A warm, promising day is lost to rain by late afternoon.

A perfect day with nothing to report other than blue sky and sunshine.

And then at dusk, a flock of birds preparing for their long journey south.

A cool, hazy dawn heralds another perfect, late summer day.

But summer has not gone yet.

A beautiful, warm day surprises us all.

A chilly, gloomy day that has Autumn in it's breath.

Perfect end to a summer's day.

Sunset,

like a storm of fire on the mountains.

Heavenly skies.

A dull, warm day.

And then the rains came, blew in from the mountains.
